Dust to Glory 12
Apr 7, 2024
The book of Joshua records the account of the Israelite conquest of Canaan and the
initial fulfillment of the land promises made to the patriarchs. The conquest has been
routinely criticized by scholars as an unnecessary and excessively brutal campaign never
sanctioned by a loving God. Yet Joshua’s campaign into Canaan was indeed a divine mis-
sion bringing judgment on the wicked and glory not to himself but to his holy God. In
this lecture, Dr. Sproul discusses the life of Joshua and the conquest of Canaan.
